World DestroyerDead Hymns is an older song, written several years ago and performed at our 2014 shows. The original intention was to include it on the upcoming album but the song was not recorded during those sessions for many reasons (all of them are my fault), and the track has been gathering dust ever since. The new album is still not finished either, so it's kind of strange that this track will be released before the album. When the opportunity to release a split LP appeared Dead Hymns was resurrected and finally recorded, along with a few other smaller tracks to open and close the EP. HOLLOW was originally written for DEATHTRIP MESSIAH and WORLD DESTROYER was for another project (don't ask how many unfinished projects I have. It's a lot). Both tracks were completely re-written and recorded specifically for this EP, and add new dimensions to the music we create. WORLD DESTROYER refers to the destruction of your internal world, not the external one, and is meant to be listened to as a single continuous track. The EP serves as an introduction and continuation of our next album, currently titled A CAVERNOUS DESCENT INTO FILTH.Special thanks to Marco from Asketic.
