The KingfisherI've been sitting on this material for a while now, a few years for most, and I thought I might as well release it. This album is a collection of sketches, ideas, and demos recorded to my Tascam Portastudio 414mkII cassette four-track. Any mixing was done during tracking, and they've just been briefly touched up/mastered with Logic Pro X.The album is split about fifty-fifty between keyboard and drum machine-based compositions, mostly performed solo, and live jam sessions featuring my friends on drums, guitar, and keyboards. For the most part, these songs were performed live. Some of the tracks feature overdubs. Personnel and recording information are available on the individual tracks' info pages, for those who may be interested.Some of these demos went on to be Captain Mick tracks, some just exist as records of time spent messing around with gear in the garage, and some will be used some day in upcoming future projects.
