Hi, I’m Preeti! Why ‘The Truth About Nobody’? It all started with my search for a fun Twitter handle, over a decade ago, and ended up becoming an alter-ego that I now use for Instagram and other social media. ABOUT ME A Chevening Gurukul Scholar from the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE), as well as an alumna of Welham, LSR and JNU, I’m a public engagement and communications specialist based out of Delhi NCR, India. I have over two decades of combined experience – at a premier national defence & security think tank (the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses – IDSA), a leading news media house (Hindustan Times – HT Media) and B2B media companies (9.9 Media & BW Businessworld) -integrating policy research, government liaison, editorial outreach and networking. At BW Businessworld, I launched and ran India’s first Smart Cities magazine, and led the community we built around it as the Founding & Executive Editor. A decade of my experience is in public sector outreach via integrated communication platforms. After editing four non-fiction books for well-known publishers, I am currently working on my first manuscript! I now teach tech. and management students business writing & communication. The institutions/ programmes I’ve taught at include the BITS School of Management (BITSoM), the National Rail and Transportation Institute (NRTI) – now a central university, the Vedica Scholars Programme for Women, the Indian School of Development Management (ISDM). I have also been online faculty for Harappa Education and Univ.AI, and have been associated with the CMGGA programme at Ashoka University. I also work as a freelance public policy consultant, as well as a strategic communications advisor and editorial consultant, especially for startups and small enterprises. Do connect with me.
