Three tunes, produced by ​Time Cow mostly on tour from ​New York City to London & back home in ​Jamaica​. The EP, punching 140bpm and over, is a dynamic grouping of Jamaicans home and away.The lyrics from the project don't directly describe Time Cow’s globetrotting. However, if one takes a look at the personnel you will realise that this project embodies Equiknoxx’s spirit of connecting communities worldwide.Travels opens with ​Exile Di Brave. ​Recorded in ​Germany​, Exile’s ‘Can’t Be Found’ feels like a standard day of ​Time Cow ​& ​Exile in Europe, frolicking about sharing experiences and putting serious conversation to interesting word play & rhythm.Time Cow sights the second track as a highlight from the project. In 2018, just ​a stone’s throw from the Legendary Lloyd Bullwackie’s studio​, ​Bronx​, ​New York City sees ​Time Cow, SO$A, Gavsborg ​& B Dot in the basement of an abandoned building. A makeshift studio assembled specifically for the occasion to come. After recording several vocal cuts over several days, there was a random vocal shouting out “​Pearson Sound ​& Ben UFO." Time Cow, fascinated by the shout out, added ​‘Ben UFO’ to ​SO$A’s tune as a placeholder and decided to leave it in whilst curating the project.RTKal & ​Shokryme recorded in ​Kingston at ​Equiknoxx Music Studios & at a joint studio outing with Swing Ting & Equiknoxx in ​London at ​Red Bull Studios ​which yielded tunes such as ‘Jump to the Bar’ featuring ​RTKal, Time Cow, Shanique Marie, Fox & Swing Ting​ as well as ‘​Fox x Gavsborg​ - ​Somewhere in Poland​.'Though ​Time Cow does not appear on ​‘Travels’ vocally, all tunes embody the chemistry of his playful, mad scientist deviance which resonates in the delivery of the vocal takes.The tunes are complemented by a cover art via ​Gavsborg. ​The image appears to be, ​Time Cow being greeted by the very charming and well chiseled dog ‘​Arbuz​.' This greeting takes place in the ​Warsaw apartment of extended Equiknoxx Family​, ‘​Dorka​.' At the time of photograph, ​Dorka et al ​were operating the ​Równonoc (Translated Equinox) bar/lounge. ​Równonoc, ​now a closed space, was ‘livicated’ to the Equiknoxx family with murals and release covers on the wall strengthening the Kingston-Warsaw connection.
