Its spirit was born as a device of communicative aggression across millennia of conflict. From this past is where Trever Hagen plays. On the edges of appropriateness. On the fringes of semiotics. In the face of triumph. Rather than bending himself to this instrument, he’s attempted to bend this piece of metal to himself - not as an act of defiance but as a resource for storytelling.“Facing the Atlantic, with my back to the cliffs of Europe, I left and returned.
