The Academy also offers international cricket tours and cricket clinics throughout the season.At the Blues Cricket Academy we provide first-class cricket facilities as well as experienced Cricket Australia accredited coaches who focus on the basics of the game to produce adaptable, versatile and intelligent cricketers.We welcome cricketers of all ages, genders and skill level.To book your session follow the links below.Blues Academy coaching sessions are typically held during the school term from 6am – 8am as well as from 3pm – 8pm, Monday to Friday. We provide the following sessions; individual 45 min, individual 1 hour, dual 1 hour and group 1 hour. Read More Upcoming Corporate Test Breakfast Join us as we celebrate another summer of cricket with former international umpire, first-class player and UQCC old boy Bruce Oxenford. Now into its 21st year, the Test Breakfast is the Club’s biggest fundraiser. The event sees alumni, current players and supporters of UQCC come together to celebrate the start of the summer of cricket. The Breakfast will once again be emceed by former UQCC and QLD player Andrew Courtice who will delve into Bruce’s playing and umpiring career as well as get his thoughts on the upcoming summer. Oxenford played first grade cricket with University of Queensland, playing 8 first-class matches for QLD before commencing umpiring. After making his first-class umpiring debut in 2001, he was an ICC international umpire between 2008-2021, umpiring 91 Tests, 157 ODIs and 31 T20Is including the 2019 Cricket World Cup.  Book Table Book Ticket Blues Academy T20 Skills Clinic Tuesday 20 September to Thursday 22 September (3 days) 9.00am to 3.00pm WEP Harris Oval, St Lucia Ages 10 to 15 The Blues Academy invites you to attend our T20 coaching clinic! Aiming to develop your batting, bowling and fielding skills in short form cricket, this clinic includes high-level training sessions and T20 match scenarios across the three days.
