Vaishno Devi Temple is registered non-profit charitable organization serving religious, cultural and social needs of Hindus and interfaith organizations in Halton, Peel & GTA. The temple was officially opened on November 3, 1991, and recently celebrated 30th anniversary.Vaishno Devi Temple is one of the holy Hindu temples dedicated to Shakti. Maa Shakti is the divine force, manifesting to destroy demonic forces and restore balance. The main Altar has deities of Maa Vaishno Devi, Shiva Parivar, Vishnu Ji with Maa Laxmi, Hanuman ji, Ram Parivar, and Baba-Balaknath ji. Temple also has Sai-Baba and Navagraha in the prayer hall.Since its inception, Vaishno Devi Temple has been providing quality services in form of spiritual guidance, cultural preservation and propagation, celebrating all major Hindu festivals. Our mission is to provide a place for spiritual, social and educational development for Hindu community serving Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Hamilton, and Mississauga.The temple offers various types of Puja services including Havan, Mata ki Chowki, Sunder Kand Path, Ramayan Path, Jagran, Griha-Pravesh, Vahan Puja, etc. Designated PanditJi can conduct the ceremony on temple premise or at home. Temple has dedicated Yagyashala, Dining Hall, Kitchen and ample parking space.
