Misplaced------------------------------------------------- When we came together for the first time since adopting a new lineup, we decided that we didn’t want to write to a particular ‘sound’. Not just yet, anyway. Whilst that may go against the grain and contradict what a band is ordinarily "supposed to do", at this incipient stage of this band’s journey we felt it natural to write a record that samples different elements of music that we each enjoy and take influence from to shape the band's future.The fast and heavy nature of our first single, ‘Misplaced’, contrasts against the melodic and brooding sounds of ‘Softlight’, and shortly you will see how the remaining tracks on the release are also unique to each other but complement the diversity of our collective influence.Sampler (2017) is a piece by piece representation of what we enjoy and future releases herein will be the pathway into what will become the 'White Crows sound’. We are incredibly excited to show you what’s in store next; this is just the beginning. But for now, we hope that you enjoy this record.-------------------------------------------------
