A registered aromatherapist for 17 years, I decided to start selling handcrafted soy candles and soaps three years ago at craft fairs after many years of creating my own soaps, candles, bath salts, and other aromatherapy blends for myself, family, friends and clients. We handcraft soap with natural ingredients using the cold process method in small batches, which blends oils with lye and water, resulting in a chemical process called saponification. In a 4-6 week curing process, the lye, water, and oils transform into a new final product, soap! Our hand cut soap is palm-free, with simple clean ingredients. Striving to source local and Canadian supplies, we aim to make quality soaps while supporting local and Canadian businesses. We also make soy wax candles with braided wicks, and use either essential oils or phthlate-free fragrance in candles only.
