As the founder of Aging Gleefully LLC (AGL), I create digital learning courses to help ease the transformation a family undergoes when older parents begin needing assistance from their middle-aged offspring. Leveraging my more than 20 years of experience in the finance field, my MBA degree, and my Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) professional certification, Aging Gleefully provides easy-to-access information on topics such as how to start the hard conversations necessary to help your parents decide on the next phase of living with your support.  My professional expertise is in advising older adults on transitioning into their “third act.” I’m also a middle-aged daughter with dependent children and older parents, facing many of the same challenges my clients face. I’ve learned others could benefit from this same information. My passion is helping adult daughters learn to manage supporting their parents in a meaningful way. Assisting  Aging Parents Academy will teach you how to start the process of financial planning, give you suggestions on how to find the right estate planning and elder care attorney, and provide vital information on how to select the right living arrangement for your parents.  Last, but equally important, you will learn top tips on how to care for the caregiver (you!)I can often be found hiking and camping in the PNW wilderness with my husband, our two sons, and two crazy dogs.  When not roughing it in the woods, I'm volunteering with kids, reading mysteries, or searching for the perfect vintage purse.
