成功電台於1959年5月4日正式對外發聲，收聽範圍以高雄為主，並涵蓋澎湖、屏東及台南部分區域。本台以台語為主要播出語言，並融入在地生活文化，製作出全天候優質的廣播節目。節目類型分別有大眾娛樂、新聞、教育文化、公共服務等。節目內容配合時事資訊，有新聞、生活新知、社會福利發展、醫療常識，以滿足民眾的需求。基於媒體責任及回饋社會的熱誠，成功電台製播創新服務及多元內容。透過節目與南部在地公益團體、學校機關建立合作橋梁，不設限、不拘限傳統或潮流，對每個族群、世代的全面關注，是我們對於觀眾的承諾與體貼。
