After many years of visiting North Carolina from our home in Florida, one year when departing the mountains, our 8 year old daughter Brinkley asked why we can't live at the beach AND in the mountains at the same time. The remaining 8 hour drive was spent talking about the things we like about being able to enjoy both the Coast and the Country.
