He became his nation's all-time goal scorer, with 34 goals before ending active soccer involvement in 2016.Born in 2nd Feb. 1985 in Dagoretti corner. Started playing for the national team at the age of 17 in 2002 against Nigeria. He is one of the most celebrated players in Kenyan football. He has made 76 appearances for the national team. Dennis Oguta Oliech commonly referred to as Des is one of the most popular footballers in Kenya. He started playing for Dagoretti Santos in his early age before moving to Mathare United. He then moved to Qatar, France and Dubai for his international professional football.Coming from a humble background his love for community and professional career made him give back to the community hence while playing professional, he single handedly supported his youth team Dagoretti Santos and elevated it to NSL where it played for 8 years.
