Fadumo Yusuf is the author of Ayan, of the Lucky and one of the authors featured in Green Card Voices Book, STEM Voice – Stories from Minnesota Immigrants Working in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Fadumo works in the medical device industry as an engineer. She works on developing new medical technologies. Fadumo obtained Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of St. Thomas and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Minnesota. Fadumo enjoys writing uplifting stories, personal reflections, Somali poems, and exploring her cultural identities.
