Gokiting Gokiting is located in Safety Bay Western Australia. Gokiting provides #support sessions and #clinics throughout the wind season from October until March. Gokiting is run by 2 experienced kite boarding instructors Marnix van Winkelhoff and Ieke Verkuil. The #support sessions are for those who have just finished their kite boarding lessons or when it’s been awhile since your last session and you would like to have a helping hand with setting up your gear, safe launching and landing and a watching eye when you go kiting. The #clinics sessions are for kite boarders who want to boast their riding or would like to learn new or improve their tricks. To be able to participate you have to be able to ride up wind. The minimum level you have to master to participate is up wind riding. All other moves and tricks can be part of these boasting #clinics with Gokiting to get you to your next level of kite boarding. Safety Bay has a lot to offer for kite boarders at all levels. You can find one of the best beginner spots where a newly formed sandbank gives you the option to either practice in knee deep water on one side or deep water on the other side. There is also this beautiful flat water spot so called The Pond which is a perfect training ground for progression of all levels of kite boarding. The clear blue ocean, steady Seabreeze and not to forget the beautiful wildlife you will be surrounded with will make your kite boarding sessions in Safety Bay success guaranteed.
