Zac and Lauren met at an Independence Day picnic in 2007, where before they were even aware, Zac was trying to build intimacy by engaging in conflict while Lauren was trying to do the same by avoiding it. Despite their differences, they bonded over their mutual interests in the law, dogs, family, good pizza, and following Jesus (not particularly in that order). Zac and Lauren married in 2009 and are proud parents to two daughters. They have been a part of the Believers Church family in Tulsa since 2012, where Zac co-leads the men's ministry and Lauren serves as trustee.The Lindseys are both attorneys with active law practices who are also trained and certified mediators and have been partners in their firm since 2019. Zac practices business law, and Lauren helps families in transition through collaborative family law. In 2020, the Lindseys observed the waves of conflict that became so apparent in their family, friendships, church, and nation. Spirited discussions at home, personal scripture study, and prayer prepared their hearts to teach on the topic of Finding Unity in Conflict with the hope of equipping followers of Jesus to engage in relationship-building conflict as ambassadors of peace.
