Robin Pleun Maas is a dutch material and product designer with a focus on textiles. The studio creates materials for the interior that provoke visual interaction with the viewer. As a secondary result, the materials have a potential acoustic function. Her practice offers potential to collaborate with companies to develop new esthetics and functions with materials, colour concepts and textile collections. After Maas' graduation at the Design Academy Eindhoven, she continued with a master in textile design at the Swedish School of Textiles. Now she started working from her own studio "Robin Pleun" and is part of the collective "Envisions". Within the collective, she is working on different projects related to trend forecasts and material development in collaboration with companies and manufacturers.
