Al Noor Centre for Women’s Development (ANCWD) is a non-profit charitable organization, dedicated to improving the quality of life of underprivileged women and their families. Established in 2018, ANCWD aims to support, engage, and empower socially and economically underprivileged women by creating opportunities that allow them to build a more sustainable future for themselves.Through its retail brand Sara Couture, ANCWD, creates garments that empower both the women who make them and the women who wear them. The center provides opportunities for them to develop their abilities and skills through accredited programs in sewing and embroidery. Sara Couture enables these women to contribute to the economic growth and social development of their families and communities. Led by a team of skilled artisans, sewing and embroidery certification courses are offered at the center. To date, 80 women have completed the ANCWD certification courses.
