I created this group in the hopes that we can provide comfort through the wonderful art of crochet. So many of us crochet for relaxation and without intent on selling our work. If you are like me, much of what I have made sits in totes waiting for me to give away. Well, here is your place to giveaway those baby items.I'll tell you a little bit about how this started. I was sitting in my local WIC office last week and there were no blankets to give away. NONE. It's cold here folks. I have made a few blankets, buntings, and coats for this organization, but I soon realized that one person can't fulfill the need that is so great. Providing warmth. So, with that said, the first project of this group will be Crochet for Warmth: to provide baby blankets, buntings, hats, and booties to those organizations that need them the most, the ones who take care of our children. And what better group of people to provide this warmth than the wonderful world of crochet. #crochetingitforward
