The Soaptree E-Partners is a project developed by Community Inclusion & Development Alliance, a non-profit organization that serves individuals with disabilities. The project aims to create job opportunities for people with disabilities by providing customized training in occupational skills that are highly demanded in the labor market. 1) improve the quality of life of people with disabilities by developing jobs that match individual talents and needs, 2) train and retain the workers through the E-Commerce project and the partnership with the local businesses, and 3) build a pipeline towards larger disability workforce development projects that attract more investment from the State and private sectors. In addition, this project aims to foster cooperation with Long Island and upstate NY farming industries (natural soap and care products) for wholesale trading.
