The Black String Triage Ensemble is an all volunteer Black and Latinx string orchestra founded by conductor Dayvin Hallmon. The Black String Triage Ensemble is a spiritual and emotional medic for communities of color in the immediate aftermath of tragic events. Specific attention is given to police brutality and gun violence. The purpose is to bring hope and healing to those afflicted by violence.
