Hi! I live in Birmingham, Alabama and I love to go hiking, listen to podcasts and audiobooks, read, and spend time with friends!When I was getting my Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting I experienced first hand how difficult learning accounting can be, especially if you have a professor whose teaching style doesn't match up well with your learning style. I tutored at our university tutoring center all 4 years helping other students in their classes, and I loved it!After graduation I got a job as an accountant at a non-profit, became a CPA, and then went on to get my Masters of Accounting and am currently a Senior Accountant in a commercial business. In fall 2021 I realized that I missed tutoring and helping accounting students, so I started tutoring online.While I love meeting with students 1-on-1, I know that there are so many others out there who are unable to get that individual tutoring for one reason or another but still really need help in their accounting classes. That's why I decided to create and offer explanatory PDFs, to be able to help those students at a more accessible price point.
