We built the tool we could not buy
Every e-commerce data product we tried gave us company names and left the qualifying to us. So we built the opposite: a database where the qualification is already done.

The problem we kept hitting
Outbound to e-commerce fails for a reason that has nothing to do with the copy. The list was never qualified. You buy ten thousand shop names, write a good email, and it underperforms, because most of those shops were never going to buy, and nothing in the data told you which ones.
What actually predicts a fit is specific and technical. Does this shop already pay for a competing tool? Is its mobile experience measurably broken? Does it ship to the markets we serve? Is the catalogue big enough to justify our price? None of that is in a standard company database, so everyone pitches everyone identically.
What we decided to do differently
Rather than storing a name and a URL, we visit every storefront and record what it publishes across 98 fields: platform, theme, installed apps, tracking pixels, catalogue size, languages, currency, shipping reach, contact routes, measured page performance and full SEO metadata. The qualification is done before you search.
Three principles that decide what ships
Undefined is not zero
A field we have never measured is stored as undefined, never as zero. Collapsing the two would let you filter for "shops with no products" and silently receive shops nobody had scanned. We keep them separate everywhere, even where it makes the product harder to build.
Every number is measured
Every figure we publish is one we measured. Where a field is still being rolled out across the dataset we say which shops carry it, so you can filter on it with confidence instead of discovering the gap in your results.
Meter honestly
Exports are billed per row rather than rounded up to a page, and your last few credits are spendable instead of stranded. Both cost us money and both are the right way round.
