Credits and metering

What counts as usage, when you are charged, and when you are not. How much you get is set by your plan; this page is about how it is counted.

Three meters

Searches, leads and enrichments

They are counted separately and do not convert into one another.

Searches

One search is one query against the database. Paging counts — each page you fetch is another query. Changing a filter does not charge you until you re-run it, which is why the grid marks changed filters and waits rather than re-querying as you type.

Leads

Exports are counted in rows, not pages. Fifty delivered rows cost fifty leads. A page span is reserved at the full page size first and then reconciled down to what was actually delivered, so you are never billed for rows you did not receive.

Enrichments

One enrichment is one shop looked up for contacts. There are two pools: your plan’s monthly allowance and any credits you buy separately. The monthly allowance is always spent first, so purchased credits are the last thing to go.

Charged, and not charged

Where you start from decides whether you pay

One rule, and it is the one worth remembering.

From the grid — charged

A new export always costs its leads, even if you have run the same filters before. The data underneath is live, so the same filter set tomorrow is not the same rows. A retried click on a request that failed is treated as one intent, not two.

From your history — never charged

Re-downloading anything from your download history is free, permanently, as a CSV or into Google Sheets. You paid for those rows once. Exports stay available for 100 days.

If an export is larger than your remaining balance, it is capped, not refused. You are shown what it will cost before you confirm, and the balance you have is spent on as many rows as it covers.

Running out

You can buy more without changing plan

Top-ups sit beside your plan allowance rather than replacing it.

Lead and enrichment top-ups

Both meters can be topped up on their own: lead credits for exports, enrichment credits for contact lookups. A top-up is a one-off purchase, not a subscription change — your plan, its renewal date and its monthly allowance all stay exactly as they are. Pack sizes and prices are on the pricing page.

Purchased credits do not expire

Your plan allowance resets on its cycle — leads and enrichments carry their unused remainder into the next period, searches reset outright. Credits you buy behave the other way round: they stay until you spend them, through resets and renewals. Because the plan allowance is always spent first, a top-up is only touched once the included credits for that period are gone.

Every purchase — subscriptions and top-ups alike — is listed in Payment history inside the app, with the date, what it bought and a receipt you can download for your records.

Plans

What a plan changes

A plan sets your allowances and your team seats. It does not change how anything is counted.

Search, lead and enrichment allowances, and the number of team seats, are allocated by your plan — see the plan for the figures. Team members draw on the account owner’s pool rather than holding their own, which is the point of a team.

API rate limits are not a plan feature. They apply per API key and are identical on every plan. A plan changes how much you may use, not how fast you may ask.

Questions

Metering, answered

Can I buy more credits without upgrading my plan?

Yes. Lead credits and enrichment credits can each be topped up on their own, as a one-off purchase. Your plan, its renewal date and its monthly allowance are unaffected. See the pricing page for pack sizes.

Do credits I buy expire when my plan resets?

No. Credits you buy stay until you spend them. The plan allowance is always spent first, so a top-up is only drawn on once the included credits for that period are gone.

Do unused searches, leads and enrichments roll over?

Leads and enrichment credits do: on a paid plan, whatever you have not spent is carried into the next month and added to that month's allowance. Searches do not — they reset to your plan's monthly figure each cycle. The free plan resets daily and carries nothing over.

Where do I find my receipts?

Payment history inside the app lists every subscription payment and every credit purchase, with the date, what it bought and a downloadable receipt.

Does paging through results cost extra?

Yes. Each page you fetch is a search, because each one is a query against the full database. This is worth knowing before you click through twenty pages to find one shop: it is usually cheaper to narrow the filters first.

Why is my download charged per lead rather than per page?

Because a page is not a fixed amount of value. A page span is reserved up front at the full page size, then reconciled down to the rows actually delivered, so a page that returns 12 rows costs 12 leads and not 100.

What happens if I do not have enough left for the whole export?

The export is capped rather than refused. Your remaining balance is spent on as many rows as it covers and you are told before you confirm, so a partial balance is never stranded.

Does re-downloading a file I already paid for cost again?

No. Re-downloading from your download history is free, permanently, for both CSV and Google Sheets. Those rows are already paid for. Starting a fresh export from the grid does charge, even for the same filters, because the live data underneath may have changed.

What happens to my enrichment credits if I cancel?

Any enrichment credits you purchased separately survive. They were bought on their own and cancelling a subscription does not refund them, so it does not void them either. Your monthly allowance is what stops.

Does a bigger plan let me call the API faster?

No. Rate limits apply per API key and are identical on every plan. What your plan changes is your allowance, not the speed at which you may ask.

See what each plan allows

The counting is the same on every plan. The allowances are not.
