Want to find out what apps a Wix site is using? Paste the address and you will know in a second. Every Wix site publishes a registry of its installed apps into the page it serves to ordinary visitors, each one named in plain English — so there is nothing to guess at and no ID to look up.
The same read tells you what currency a Wix store charges in. That is the store’s configured setting rather than a price lifted off a product page, which is why it works on a homepage with no prices on it and why it can tell US dollars from Canadian and Australian ones — a distinction no amount of reading “$29.99” will ever settle.

What this can see, and what it cannot
Wix is unusually generous with this information. Where a Shopify store leaves behind numeric pixel IDs that have no public name registry, and a WordPress site can have its whole plugin list erased by a caching optimizer, a Wix page carries a named registry of everything installed on it. One request, real names, no lookup table.
The catch is volume rather than scarcity. A median Wix site lists around 34 apps, and the most common ones are on nearly every site — a checkout handler on 96%, a legacy email app on 99.9%. A raw list is mostly platform furniture, so the result separates what was chosen from what merely came switched on.
There is one thing we cannot tell you, and we will not pretend otherwise: the template. Wix has no theme system. A site starts from a template and is then edited freely, after which the template identity is published nowhere. We checked thirty sites and found it on none of them. Any tool that names a Wix template is guessing.

How do I find out which apps a Wix site is using?
Paste the address above. A Wix site server-renders a registry of everything installed on it into the page it sends to every visitor, listing each app by its real name. The detector reads that one public page. No login, no scanning, nothing private.
How can I tell what currency a Wix store charges in?
The same page carries the store’s configured currency as an ISO code — the setting itself, not a price scraped off a product. That is why this works even on a homepage showing no prices at all, and why it can tell USD from CAD and AUD, which all render as a dollar sign.

Why does it show fewer apps than the site has installed?
It does not — if anything the raw number is larger than you expect. A typical Wix site carries around 34 apps, but most are Wix built-ins that ship with the platform or arrive automatically with a store. We lead with the App Market installs and the Wix features that reflect a real choice, and report the rest as a count, because a flat list of 34 buries the handful that actually tell you something.
What does “App Market install” mean?
Wix marks each app as either its own or a third party’s. The third-party ones came from the Wix App Market, were chosen deliberately and are often paid — so they are the commercially interesting list. The flag is not perfectly clean: a few Wix-sounding features are marked third-party, probably because Wix acquired them. Read it as “very probably deliberate” rather than as proof.
Can you detect the Wix theme or template?
No, and no tool can. Wix has no theme system: a site starts from a template and is then freely edited, after which the template identity is not published anywhere in the page. We checked — no sampled site carried it. Anything claiming to name a Wix template is guessing. What we can see is the site’s design profile: its colour palette, fonts and whether it was built in classic Editor or Studio.
How do I know if a Wix site has an online store?
The result says so. Wix Stores is itself an app, so its presence is visible in the same registry — along with Bookings, Events, Restaurants and Point of Sale, which between them tell you what kind of business it is.
The site did not respond. Does that mean it is not Wix?
No, and we never report it that way. A timeout or a bot filter tells us nothing about what the site is built on. Those return “we couldn’t check”, which is a different answer from “not Wix”.
