See your results as charts

Visualize takes whatever your filters currently return and charts it, in place, without leaving the grid. It is the fastest way to understand the shape of a segment before you spend anything exporting it, and every chart is something you can take away as an image.

  1. Filter first

    The charts describe your current results, not the whole database. Narrow to the segment you are interested in before you open it.

  2. Open Visualize

    The view replaces the grid rather than opening elsewhere, so you keep the filters you already have. Going back to the grid does not cost you the segment you built.

  3. Read the sixteen breakdowns

    Your results are broken down sixteen ways at once: platform, country, currency, language, technology, catalogue size, shipping, social presence, HTTP status and both lab and real-user performance. You do not choose a dimension and wait for a chart; they are all drawn from the same result set together.

  4. Click a slice to filter by it

    Clicking a slice or a bar applies it as a filter on the grid. That is what makes this a way of exploring rather than a report: you notice something in a chart and drill into it immediately, then chart the narrower set again.

  5. Download one chart as a PNG

    Every chart carries its own PNG button. It downloads that single chart on its own, named after the breakdown it shows, which is what you want when you need one figure for a slide rather than the whole board.

  6. Or pick several and download them as one board

    Download all charts opens a picker: tick the charts you want, watch the preview build as you tick, then download the selection as a single PNG at twice normal resolution so it stays sharp in a deck. Untick everything you do not need and the board is only what you chose.

  7. Share it without downloading first

    A single chart or your chosen board can be sent straight to LinkedIn, and the top bar has a copy-as-markdown action that puts the numbers behind the charts on your clipboard as text, ready to paste into a post or hand to an AI assistant to write one.

Worth knowing

  • Missing values are not counted as zero. A shop that has never been measured on a dimension is left out of that chart rather than dragging its average down, which is the difference between a chart you can quote and one that quietly misleads.
  • The charts always describe your current filter. If a chart looks wrong, check what the grid is filtered to before you doubt the number.
  • Visualize can be granted or withheld per team member, separately from downloading and enriching.
